I have been almost finished with this project for well over a month.  Just waiting for the hardware to come in the mail.  A little bit of a snag in the project.  This dresser was given to me by a friend.  She bought it in an antique shop and used it for her daughter until it just became too worn looking.  Perfect for me.

The top is a dark distressed stain.  I painted different shades of gold, gray and white over the white paint (and probably other layers) that were already there.  I heavily distressed it bringing some of it back to the original dark stain.  This isn’t for everyone, but I wanted to give it a whirl and I am pleased how it came out.
