Distressed 2 Yellows, Stain • Start to Finish

Start to Finish:

  • Sand top to wood
  • Remove old hardware
  • Fix damaged hardware holes with wood filler
  • rough sand bottom
  • recycled farm wood bottom – thanks to my uncle
  • primer bottom
  • stain & distress top
  • saffron paint bottom
  • lighter yellow paint bottom over other paint
  • heavily distress bottom with heavy grit sand paper and steel wool
  • wax finish entire dresser
  • drill new holes for hardware
  • put on new hardware – cast iron from hobby lobby
